Rathtrevor is handsdown my favorite spot on Vancouver Island for engagement sessions! It is incredibly busy with campers during the summer months due to it being a provincial park. However, we never seem to encounter too many people during our sessions as the campers have settled in for dinner around golden hour, so it is the perfect spot to create beautiful engagement photographs!

I still remember the first time I photographed wedding portraits at Rathtrevor Park in the pouring rain and I immediately fell in love. Every time I photograph a session there, feels like the first time. I especially love it for engagement sessions because there is room for couples to run around and get moving, along with spots for them to sit on the ground and snuggle in. Did I mention it has a pretty epic golden hour, which is a definite bonus!
