Capturing the true essence and raw glory of motherhood in this super fun and energetic family session.

I met Nikki when I first moved to the island in 2018.  We met up a few times to take portraits of each other and to practice new techniques with our cameras and quickly became friends.  During the last nine months we have become close and a support for each other during these challenging times. Nikki has been homeschooling her two daughters and I have been entertaining a rambunctious toddler…. to say the least, we always have a ton to chat about and definitely welcome adult conversation!  It was so nice to get together with her and the girls for a motherhood session and get a little wild!  We sang, danced and watched the girls run cirlces around us before they got cold!

Motherhood and family sessions come with their chaos, let’s not deny this. However, it is about finding the beauty in the chaos that is magic.  It is truly about connecting with the family and kids and getting creative to capture those intimate and raw moments!  I actually prefer when the kids have a ton of energy to burn off because we can capture some super fun action shots… then they’re ready to snuggle in for a couple shots!
