As a photographer, engagement sessions are one of the sessions I most look forward to!

It is always such an excellent opportunity to get to know the couples I will be working with the upcoming season.  Plus they get to know a little bit of my shooting style, which I would have to say is to make couples feel at ease and to capture the beautiful candid moments between a few posey things I may suggest. My ultimate goal when photographing an engagement session is to capture the sweet little moments between them when they think I am not looking!

I love photographing engagement sessions around Ladysmith BC because there are so many hidden little treasures when it comes to location. You definitely have to overlook a few things like dog poo or a few pot holes in the roads, however it is always worth it in the end!  These two showed up to this location and were ready to rock their engagement session!  It was a nice little preview for me for their upcoming wedding in Tofino, BC and I immediately knew it was going to be an absolute blast.  Their snuggly engagement session in Ladysmith, BC was a photographers dream!  These two truly embraced their session with nothing but love and laughter
